  ISA New Zealand Under 14 Team

New South Wales Softball Association are hostings a youth boys tournament in Sydney  in March 2013, that includes a visiting team from Japan.    (The venue of the 2000 Olympics)
The ISA New Zealand Academy  were again extended an invitation to send an ISA New Zealand U14 Boys to participate in the  tournament. Age Under 14 at 31st December 2012

The 2013 U14 Invitation International Challenge 
OVERVIEW

2. Date:  Boy's event (March 22nd, 23rd & 24th )
3. Place: Blacktown Olympic Centre ( Sydney, Australia )
(the site of the 2000 Olympics)
4. Organizers: New South Wales Softball Association
5. ISA NZ Academy Format - Departing New Zealand Sunday 17th March and returning on Monday 25th March 2013
  1. Day 1 -  Travel to Sydney ex Auckland Monday March 17th. (EARLY Flight)  Monday afternoon Boys skill camp pm, at Blacktown and evening league game
  2. Day 2-  Tuesday Boy’s skill camp & build up games  am & pm Monday Night evening warm up game
  3. Day 3 -  Wednesday Travel to Canberra for a series against Canberra U15's visit the Australian Sports Institue
  4. Day 4 -  Thursday Late start - Skills camp am & late afternoon prior to final warm up game in evening   
  5. Day 5 -  Friday am - Parlea Markets (just like Paddy Market in Sydney)  - afternoon training run. Tournament  starts in evening)
  6. Day 6  -  Saturday Tournament
  7. Day 7  -  Sunday Tournament
  8. Day 8 - Travel to Airport calling into branded OUTLet shops onway - flights approx  1pm                               Although in most cases we will fliy ex Auckland we will try and fly your son back to the closest International Airport where the flights fit. This may mean he travels alone.
Various entertainment will be offered, we have outlined the plan above, howver this may change depending on the softball program and timings. We have in the past included visits to markets, downtown Sydney, visits to the Opera House, League Games, Syndey Harbour Bridge and tunnel, Outlet shops, Blacktown Shopping complex,, Specialise softball shop, Wildlife Park, Dargling Harbour, IMAX, the Star Restaurant (formerly Planet Holywood)  - and entry costs are covered.
6. Accommodation & meals:
    Accommodation and three meals a day are included in the costs, except meals on the flights and lunch on last day.
