IN 2021, THE ISA ARE HOSTING three TOURS WITH four BOYS TEAMS.

U14 Boys - SEPTEMBER 2021

With the impact of Covid on the International Tournament with Japan, New Zealand and Australia, the NSW Softball have extended to the ISA New Zealand Academy an exclusive invitation to send an ISA New Zealand U14 teams to participate for 2021 in the New South Wales State Champs . (Under 14 at the 31st December 2020) - a Boys and a Girls team

Tour Date: Tuesday 14th September - Monday 19 September

Tournament: Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th September

Location: Blacktown International Sports Park Park (Sydney, Australia)

Team Managers: Diane Waterhouse & Linda Rowe

Coaches: Haydn Smith, former Softball NZ Chief Executive and former Black Sox Player Brian Mountford

Cost: Estimate $3,175 per person

Day 1- Tuesday 14th September

Early morning flight ex Auckland/Wellington/Christchurch to Sydney (NOTE all pricing is based on flight ex Auckland/Wellington & Christchurch - the cost of players transport to these location is yours)

Afternoon skills camp

Warm up Games - Southern Districts for games against U15 Boys - Jacquie Osmond Reserve, Station Street Warwick Farm

Day 2

Morning & Afternoon skills camp

Evening warm up game - Campbelltown & District Softball Association, Milton Park, Macquarie Road, Ingleburn

New South Wales Softball Association are hosting their NSW Blues Annual BOYS JUNIOR SOFTBALL Tournament at Softball Headquarters, at the Blacktown International Sportspark, Eastern Road, Rooty Hill, Western Sydney. We will play in the U18 Boys Grade. Departing New Zealand Saturday 25th September. We have taken two teams for this Tournament since it began.

Various entertainment will be offered. Outlined itinerary is subject to change based on the softball program and timings. In the past, we have included visits to markets; downtown Sydney; Luna Park, Sydney Opera House; League Games; Sydney Harbour Bridge and tunnel; Movies: Outlet shops; Blacktown shopping complex; specialised softball shops. Any entertainment costs are covered in the tour fee.

UNDER 19 Boys - JULY 2021 -11 days

Where we began - our first Tour was to the Friendship Series in 2008, finishing 4th and in 2020 we finished second. Over the years we have attended 9 Friendship Series Tournaments .

Runners up in 2010 - Coaches Kevin Gettins, went on to be Head Coach of the NZ White Sox Womens team, and Chubb Tangaroa - Black Sox Battery Coach. Five players went on to be Black Sox training squad members and one to the Great Britain Men’s team.
