DEVELOPMENT Girls - June/July 2017

Australian Softball Association are again hosting the International Friendship Series, but this year the Tournament will be in Redlands, Brisbane. The ISA New Zealand Girls Development team will be staying in the Gold Coast, approximately a one hour drive from the grounds. Where possible once the draw is finalised visits to Movieworld and or Seaworld Theme parks will be worked into the program.  

Australian Softball Internationals FRIENDSHIP SERIES GIRLS Tournament

Date: Depart Thursday  29th June to  Saturday 8th July

Tournament: Monday 3rd, 4th 5th, 6th & 7th July

Location: Redland Park, Redland Softball Association, Brisbane

Early flight Auckland - Brisbane

Pick up Bus and drive to Surfer Paradise accommodation- relax around people and luck

Afternoon Training Pizzey Park, Sonia Street MIAMI

Warm up game v Host Club Raiders Softball Club – Ipswich

Day 2 - Friday

Training in morning

Seaworld Theme Park

Evening Games Brisbane Softball Downey Park

Day 3 - Saturday  

One day festival tournament Morning/afternoon Logan City Softball Association Logan City

Day 4 - Sunday

 Morning training

Afternoon around pool and visit downtown Surfers

Possible even game

Day 5 Monday , Day 6, Day 7. Day 8 and Day 9 Friday

TOURNAMENT with a shopping night at Harbour Town in Surfers

Day 10 - Saturday

Movieworld Day with evening walk through Gold Coast and travel home.

U17 Girls - July 2017

New South Wales Softball Association are hosting visiting teams from United States and New Zealand with some their NSW Academy Teams in a International U17 Girls Softball Tournament at the Blacktown International Sports Park, Western Sydney, at the venue of Baseball & Softball at Sydney Olympics.  The is a new event on the calendar in Australia and New South Wales softball have extended an invitation to the ISA New Zealand Academy to send a team to participate in the tournament.

NSW Internationals CUP U17 GIRLS Tournament

Date: Depart Monday 17th July to  Monday  24th July

Tournament: Friday 21st, Sat 22nd and Sunday 23rd July

In the past, we have included visits to markets; downtown Sydney; Sydney Opera House; League Games; Sydney Harbour Bridge and tunnel; Outlet shops; Blacktown shopping complex; specialised softball shops; Wildlife Park; Darling Harbour; IMAX; and the Star Restaurant (formerly Planet Hollywood). Entry costs are covered.

Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the costs - this excludes meals on the flights and lunch on the last day.

U15 Girls - September 2017

New South Wales Softball Association are hosting a youth U17 Girls Softball tournament (Blue Blaze Softball Tournament) at the Blacktown Internation Sports Park, Western Sydney, at the venue of Baseball & Softball at Sydney Olympics.  The ISA New Zealand Academy were again extended an invitation to send an ISA New Zealand U15 Girls team to participate in the tournament.
