We are selecting four boys’ teams for international tours this year. All age brackets are based on age on the 31st of December, 2023. Talk to us if your birthday is early Jan.

The South Softball Association is organising a Tournament around the selection of their 2025 U14 Representative teams. Dates for 2024 are expected to early September, with former Black Sox Assistant Coach Warren Stoddard as one of the coaches

Under 14 Boys - International Challenge Cup including teams from Japan & Australia - UPLOAD DETAILS

• Depart Tuesday 19 March 2024 returning Monday 25th March 2024

• Warm-up games, training

• International Challenge Cup at the Blacktown International Sports Park Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th March

• Warm-up games, training & Tournament, with one on one feedback from coaching staff and a writing report to help development.

• Head Coach, Haydn Smith - former Softball New Zealand CEO,, many years coaching. Haydn has coached this age bracket on ISA tours for over 10 years, Assistants, Mike Mountford, former Canterbury Rep and age group coach, and Steve Jackson former Black Sox Pitcher.

• This will be our 11th time attending this event. The cost is $3650

Under 15 Boys  - Two teams  ( re branded from the Blue Blaze to the NSW Clubs Tournament (Under 15) ie Under 15 at the 31st December 2023 - depending on your birthday you may be 15 years of age

• Dates are yet to be finalised but we are looking to depart end of September for seven days

• Warm-up games, training & a possible NRL Semi finals game

• New South Wales Softball Clubs Boys Tournament at the Blacktown International Sports Park

• Head Coaches are former SNZ Board Chairman and CEO, and Junior Black Sox coach for 12 years, Dale Eager and Warren Stoddard for Black Sox Assistant Coach, Wellington and PK Coach REGISTER YOUR INTEREST the cost is $3650

Under 16 Boys - 2024 International Youth Tournament in Prague including three U17 players

• The Tour is 16 days

• Depart 15th May ex Auckland RETURN to New Zealand 31st May

• Warm-up games, and training with games in Slovakia, and the Czech Republic

• Tournament - Mike Stapleton Memorial Tournament at Joudrs in Prague - we will also be staying at the grounds

• Cost is $6950 REGISTER YOUR INTEREST ex Auckland and exclude travel insurance

Development Boys Tour to Canada - Three weeks of Touring Canada playing Tournaments and exhibition games

• The Tour is 21 days

• Depart 25th July ex Auckland RETURN to New Zealand 12th August

• Travel the through Canada’s Alberta, Saskatchewan. and Manitoba country-side in a 40 seater bus, and be host at reservations, three Tournaments and numerous exhibition games, while travelling to the next Tournament

• Depart Saturday 28th September ex Wellington Auckland and Christchurch returning Saturday 5th Oct

• Warm-up games, training National Rugby League (NRL) Final if Sydney and we can secure tickets

• New South Wales Softball Club Championship Tournament at the Blacktown International Sports Park Girls Tuesday, Oct 1 –to Friday 4th Oct

• Coaches Wayne Stoddard- former Black Sox coach and long-time Wellington Rep and club coach and Michelle Kingi former White Sox Pitcher and current club and provincials coach.

• This will be our 12th time attending this event. (For 11 years it was called the Blue Blaze)

• Cost $3650

Under 19 Girls- International Friendship Series - Sydney

• The Tour is 7 days ex Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland

• Depart New Zealand Friday 11th July returning Saturday 18th July 2023

• Five USA team, 6 Australian Team and one New Zealand

• Tournament - have being a traditional stable for international tournaments for Aussie. New Zealand and USA teams.

• Head Coach, Warren Stoddard- former Black Sox, coach and long time Wellington Rep and Club Coach
